On the 23rd of March, Lyndale Secondary College hosted an event for Pi day at lunchtime, consisting of activities around pi. Students from all year levels were welcomed to participate in a head-to-head, circle drawing and pi recitation competition. The pi competition was a great way for students to memorise the digits of pi. The winner of the pi recital had won with 26 digits of pi, while the runners up were close behind with 20. The intense circle drawing competition was conducted by Mr Anderson (Thank you!!!) and participated by students varying from all year levels trying their best to manage a perfectly drawn circle with the biggest diameter. The winner was Tran Nguyen with a diameter of 17.8cm and an impressive accuracy of 99 percent!
